Recommended actions
Recommended actions is your setup checklist. It lists what your Touch Identity still misses, explains in plain words why each step matters, and gives you a button that opens exactly the place where you complete it.
You find it at the top of the left menu as Recommended, with your progress as a count and a bar (for example ☑ 5/8), and as a card at the top of the Dashboard. Only owners and managers see it.

Tax details (businesses only) | Needed for invoices. Open until both the tax number and the tax office are in. |
Logo | Makes your Touch Identity recognisable in the switcher and on your public profile. |
Address | Lets AI agents tell customers where to find you. |
Business description | Business overview, target customers and products and services: what every AI agent knows about you. |
Engagement Rules | How your AI agents behave: tone, topics, working hours and handover. Done once any rule, greeting or escalation contact is saved. |
First AI agent | The agent that answers your customers. |
Knowledge Base | Articles, questions and answers or web pages your agents answer from. |
Phone number | The number your customers call and message. |
The address your customers write to. | |
Website | Where your visitors chat and call you. |
Hide what you do not need
Not every step fits every business: maybe you have no website. Hide a step and it leaves the count, so your progress can still reach the end. Open Settings → Recommended actions to hide steps, show hidden ones again, and choose Where to show:
- Dashboard and menu (default): a card on the Dashboard and the Recommended entry in the menu.
- Menu only: just the menu entry.
- Hidden: only on the Recommended actions screen.
These choices are saved for the Touch Identity, so they apply to all its owners and managers. When every step is done or hidden, the card and the menu entry disappear by themselves.
