WebRTC calls from the browser
With WebRTC (secure VoIP), customers call you straight from their browser: from a call button on your website or a link you send them. The call is encrypted from end to end, nobody needs a phone line, and nobody pays an operator for it. The call is answered by whoever answers your number's voice channel.
Ways to use it
- Add a call button to your website (Coming soon): add and verify your website in Websites now; the click-to-call button and its code to paste into your site follow with the website widget. Visitors press the button and talk to your AI agent.
- Share a call link (Coming soon): a link anyone can open to call your number from the browser, for your e-mail signature, WhatsApp profile or social media.
- Test from your browser (Coming soon): call your own number from the Activate & Test tab.
What callers need
A recent Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, and to allow the microphone when the browser asks. A headset gives the clearest sound.
Why it is great for international customers
Customers abroad can reach you without international call charges, and you need no local number in their country.
